aside from credit, what is the purpose of identity theft?

im a victim, but ive done all the damage control possible in terms of bank accounts and credit reports. im still wondering what other atrocities the thief could be planning against me.

if my credit report is flagged and he or she tries to apply for a cell phone, medical insurance, or book a flight — will i be notified?

is that credit report alert only a defense against fiscal fraud or all cases of identity theft?

It can be worse than credit…an identify theft could commit another crime, and a warrant could be issued for your arrest…

There are actually 5 areas of identity theft. once someone has your social, they can get your medical information and commit id theft or they can get a driver’s lic in your name or even commit a crime. I am with an id theft company, which once you become a victim in any of the 5 areas, we restore, then what we do is a back ground check, driver’s lic check and a couple of other checks to see if anything else has been touched. That is really what you should do. Oh, and you will not be notified unless you are pulled over and have a warrant and arrested.
